Please note: I will be taking a two year leave of absence from belonging to the National Association of Realtors to protest their mandatory surcharge. It is money that will be spent on political candidates, many of whom I oppose.. The NAR has always had a voluntary PAC and continues to have one, yet is extorting this additional funding.
80% of the membership disagreed with this surcharge.
If it is not paid, a member is not able to join their MLS (multiple listing service), essentially putting them out of business.

Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill make up the Tar Heel State's Golden Triangle -- a land of "tees, trees, and PhDs." A population center of more than 1.4 million, the Triangle is home to three major universities and several smaller colleges. Chapel Hill, Chatham County, and Alamance County still have rural real estate perfect for horse or hobby farms and country estates near vibrant career centers, art colonies and universities. The Chapel Hill, Pittsboro, Cary and Durham area are blessed with abundant streams, creeks, rivers, ponds and lakes.
It is hard to believe that within minutes of award winning towns and cities such as Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Cary and Durham the tranquility of creek side hikes, morning fishing trips, and afternoon kayak adventures await you.
Our area is one of the centers for sustainable agriculture which provides us with splendid restaurants, vibrant farmer's markets and local produce in area markets. The entire Triangle is a hotbed of sustainable building and mainstream Green Building.
