After School Enrichment Program

            It’s simple.  My goal is to make a life changing, positive impact in children’s lives through horses.  I’ve actually gotten used to being called a horse whisperer, as people appreciate my innate abilities with horses,  but now I’m also being referred to as a “child whisperer”………..      

    Winning four equestrian World Championships was the springboard that helped me to accomplish my dream career that combines my passion for horses with my desire to mentor children.  A certified “AQHA Professional Horseman”, I’ve been blessed with fifteen successful years working with horses and youth.  “Harmonious Horsemanship” is my teaching philosophy that is based on insights gained through introspection and mutual respect between people and horses.  Learned skills (such as accountability, responsibility, listening and making good choices) help my students to blossom and thrive, not only on horseback, but in life.          

    Parents inundate me with praise and testimonials of “my kids” becoming magically confident and more responsible at home.   They want more!  Happier families and empowered children have confirmed that “Harmonious Horsemanship” can be a valuable asset to enhancing family life.

          My business, called “Horse Play”, is an after school program anchored by the principles of “Harmonious Horsemanship”.  More than a babysitting service, “Horse Play” facilities will provide a safe, supportive environment for children to build self-esteem while having fun.  In addition to riding and caring for horses, they will take nature walks, enjoy farm activities and learn life skills and values in a gentle, natural presentation.
