The State of North Carolina requires real
property be reappraised at least every eight years. Property values change
over time and must be adjusted periodically to maintain balance and
equity.
Please note:
Sometimes an address might seem odd, for
instance, a Chapel Hill address in Chatham County. What it means is the
post office is in the city of the 'address' but the schools and services
are provided by the county where the property is physically located.
